Learn how to work with fellow vocalists to refine your vocal prowess and gather invaluable stage experience.

Evolve your skills and stage presence as a vocal artist through internal and external performance opportunities.

Hone your stagecraft under the expert guidance of our specialist tutors. Each performance will allow you to gain feedback to help fine-tune your set list and performance

Master technical skills, including remixing, composition, and arrangement.

Acquire employability skills tailored for the creative industries through industry and marketing modules.

Engage in in-depth creative briefs that challenge, expand and refine your musical skills.

Take part in sessioning, auditioning, and recording studio tasks. Gain insights into the role of a featured musician, equipping you with the necessary expertise to navigate the industry.

Participate in songwriting sessions, refining your material for recording and performance contexts.

Develop your understanding of how to sustain a successful career as a vocal artist with modules on industry, marketing and other areas of the music business.

Enhance research techniques and critical thinking skills, empowering you to pursue higher education opportunities.

Establish a unique portfolio including recorded original material and collaborations.

Refine your online presence and promotional material. 

Develop your understanding of the expectations and rigour of university study.

Mix and master music by other musicians and artists, as well as your own. 

Work with performers to develop studio engineering and recording techniques.

Hone your academic skills, including research techniques and critical thinking, to get you ready for university.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

At least four GCSEs at grades 4-9, or C-A* including English

MATHS AND ENGLISH

If you are 16-18 and don’t already have GCSE Grades 4 or above in mathematics and/or English Literature or Language, it will be compulsory for you to do a GCSE level maths and/or English course alongside your studies with us. Learn more here.

CAREERS AND PROGRESSION

Move onto our Level 4 in Artist Development, a creative degree or into industry. Finishing both years of this course can generate up to 168 UCAS points, or the equivalent of three A* grades at A Level. Careers you can aim for include Session Musician, Recording and Performance Artist, Songwriter and Backing Vocalist.
