Call Me Unique studied Music Performance at Access Birmingham back in 2012.
She is a singer/songwriter influenced by soul and jazz scat-singing. She combines this with modern rap and soulful lyrics. She has been compared to her idols Lisa Lopes, Lauryn Hill and Ella Fitzgerald.
She picked up a guitar when she was 16 and has making music ever since. She has travelled around Europe and is known for her impromptu performances which always leave people wanting more.
Call Me Unique has played a number of festivals including Glastonbury and NewSkoolRules, a hip-hop festival in Rotterdam.
The Genting Arena in Birmingham have had Call Me Unique as one of their regular opening acts. She has opened for a number international artists such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and many more!
She has gained the support of BBC 1XTRA’s DJ Target and has had her signature single, The Wife playlisted as the track of the week. Then following this the BBC 1xtra playlisted single collaborative track Time To Love by Monkeyneck feat. Call Me Unique.
