Knock out Kaine are a four piece rock band featuring two former Access Lincoln students – guitarist Jimmy Bohemian and bass player Lee Byrne.
After winning Kerrangs!’s ‘Best Unsigned Live Act’ in 2008, Knock out Kaine’s flamboyant and outrageous style led them from strength to strength.
They now have over a decade’s worth of touring and experience behind them. They supported Steven Alder, of Guns n’ Roses, in his solo band Alder’s Appetite on their month-long European tour. Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, even makes an appearance in their music video for Set The Night On Fire!
They have been aired on many digital rock radio stations around the world and have received a huge amount of positive reviews in respected music publications such as Classic Rock, Kerrang!, Fireworks and Black Velvet.
Guitarist Jimmy says of his time with Access: ‘After leaving college, all I wanted to do was to learn more about music and playing guitar, so I felt very privileged and lucky enough to be able to get a place at Access. It was a great place to meet like-minded musicians and the connections I made there’.
