Gain valuable employment skills

Getting meaningful work experience in the creative industries is difficult. Many businesses are small and are not set up for meeting the needs of young students.

That is why Access offers schools in its catchment areas the opportunity to send pupils to us for a week in June or July to gain valuable employability skills.

We offer Year 9s, 10s and 11s work experience opportunities via our popular Digital Futures programme. This enables pupils to gain valuable employability skills in a unique creative environment.

Digital Futures runs during the last week of June and the first three weeks of July. Activities include:

  • Create a Blog: producing an online blog based on content from our Access All Areas magazine;
  • Digital Media: web design, film, podcasting, photography, and creative writing.
  • Radio Advert and Podcast: producing and editing audio for radio use.

If you have pupils who are interested in this creative industries opportunity please fill in the online form at bit.ly/digitalfutures2017
