Plymouth

6 Elizabeth Court
Higher Lane
Plymouth
PL1 2AN

Plymouth offers far more than just being a seaside town. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, right next to Dartmoor National Park and in the middle of two of the most globally renowned areas of the UK (Cornwall and Devon), the city is an oasis for residents and visitors alike looking for lively hustle and bustle after quiet country walks.

And of course, with a city comes a thriving and unique culture. Plymouth is no exception with a wide variety of venues, clubs and performance spaces that were a key cog in the 90s and 00s electronic music scene, now led from the front by The Depo, a 750 capacity venue that has more recently hosted Pete Tong and Serum.

ACC Plymouth shares a centre with Higher Education provider dBs Plymouth on Higher Lane who have been on the site since 1998, in a bespoke centre filled with the latest in professional standard equipment. The centre is only a 15 minute walk from the heart of the city and the coast, so you can get busy delving into the rich, energetic creative culture or head down to the water’s edge and relax after lessons.

Matt Mills
ACC Plymouth Centre Manager

I grew up in the South West, studying Business & Management at Bournemouth University. I also utilised music production skills, working with local artists and exploring international licensing opportunities for my catalogue through the mid 2000s. I joined dBs Music: Plymouth (now ACC and dBs) almost 10 years ago, becoming centre manager 2 years ago. Seeing the development and creative journeys of students leaving school and progressing on to higher education, masters qualifications and employment is an incredibly rewarding experience.
