On 7th March 2019, after months of hard work, we opened the doors to our brand new Bristol Campus for a few special guests to get a first look!
Our guests included staff; without their hard work, the project wouldn’t have been possible! We also welcomed potential and current students, who we know will benefit from the high tech kit that the space has to offer.
The Minister of Digital and Creative Education, Margot James, prerecorded a speech for
our guests about the up and coming creative industry in Bristol. We felt this echoed our passion and drive to offer a space for our students to train to become part of the city’s creative industries.
Our launch event gave our guests the opportunity to interact with our Games and VR Lab, which would not have been possible without our special guests, Overclockers. They even stuck around to show us the inside of a 8 pack Polaris PS system!
The honour of the ribbon cutting was given to students of the college who will soon be able to enjoy the space and get their hands on the amazing, industry-used equipment.
The event was a great opportunity to showcase our student’s talent. Guests sipped orange juice and champagne whilst being entertained by our student’s performances.
The campus has a fresh and creative feel about it because we want our students to be inspired in this space. Each room is individual and has its own identity, much like our students!
We are so proud to open this new campus and we’re very excited about the opportunities this will give Bristol and its young people. We hope to see you soon!
