Cetera, a new Artist Development company launched by ACC earlier this year, signed its first act, ex Artist Development student in London Lili Caseley, in March just prior to Lockdown.
Cetera discovered Lili during the Hoax led competition to find a support act for Ed Sheeran in 2019. Lili made it to the final five and it was during that activity that we first met and then invited Lili to be the first act to join the Cetera roster.
The first thing we did prior to lockdown was agree for Lili to sign a one off single deal with Hoax as the first artist on their new digital record label. The single C’est La Vie was released in April and has been featured on Selector Radio, BBC Introducing and many other smaller radio stations.
To promote the single during lockdown, Lili has played loads of virtual live shows on socials for a large number of brands including Notion Magazine, Lyle and Scott, Warchild, Right Chord, Unknown Festival (in Canada) and the Electric Girl Festival in China.
Lilis performance at the Electric Girl Festival received over a million views and this led to an offer of a deal with the Electric Girl record label for China and its territories. Lili signed the contract last week and her first release is in two weeks time.
Since the release of C’est La Vie, there’s also been a Louis La Roche remix and there’s a garage remix by K1R3Y which will be released next week.
All the activity around the single has raised Lili’s profile and the single has been featured on a large number of big Spotify playlists and some influential blogs and magazines. This activity has now led to a further two record contract offers and as of this week Lili has signed with Lucky Streak Records for the exclusive release of her next single BaDoom.
So, to summarise how Cetera has help Lili’s career:
