The Games industry is booming and with the industry generating £1.4 billion to the UK economy, it’s not surprising that careers in this sector are becoming more and more sought after. The Access to HE Games Development course will prepare you to level up to reach your goal of becoming a fully fledged Games Development professional.

Upon completion of this pre-degree diploma, you will also have gained the qualifications necessary to progress on to university-level study.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

With the help of professional experts, up to date knowledge and a whole bunch of kit and software used by the industry, you will learn the full scope and fundamentals of Games Development including: 3D modelling, animation, programming, game world design, audio production and everything in between.

QUALIFICATION

Level 3 Access to HE Diploma in Creative Industries (Games), 60 credit qualification worth a maximum of 144 UCAS points.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

English and Maths GCSE or equivalent at 4 (Grade C) or above

FEES

Learners wishing to undertake an Access to HE course will be required to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan, which is how the course is paid for. We understand the concerns, worries and stress that comes with taking out a loan; however, Student Finance England will ‘write off’ any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balances you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course. Meaning, you do not have to repay it.
