Make your first step into the world of professional music-making with this comprehensive, hands-on, industry-focused diploma. Whether you’re an aspiring recording artist, studio engineer, sound designer or composer, this course will immerse you in the end-to-end process of audio production, equipping you with a robust knowledge-base to help you pursue your chosen specialism.

Upon completion of this pre-degree diploma, you will also have gained the qualifications necessary to progress on to university-level study.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

You will become skilled in the creation, recording and distribution of music, using state-of-the-art equipment to practice your skills and apply them to a diversity of applications. You will also develop your personal, business and management skills. Drawing on the real-world experience of your tutors, you’ll gain an insight into the inner workings of the music industry – and how you can find employment and recognition within it.

QUALIFICATION

Level 3 Access to HE Diploma in Creative Music Technology & Production, 60 credit qualification worth a maximum of 144 UCAS points.

English GCSE or equivalent at 4 (Grade C) or above

FEES

Learners wishing to undertake an Access to HE course will be required to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan, which is how the course is paid for. We understand the concerns, worries and stress that comes with taking out a loan; however, Student Finance England will ‘write off’ any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balances you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course. Meaning, you do not have to repay it.
