We will write to everyone who is eligible to enrol in late June/early July with details of how to complete their enrolment.

Enrolment sessions will start during the week of GCSE results day in August and run through the following weeks. You will be asked to come in on a specific day, along with the other people on your course. If you can’t attend your session for any reason, please let us know.

When you come to your enrolment session you will need to bring your ID and evidence of your qualifications.

If you have an early interview, you may have to wait several months before you enrol with us.

You can keep in touch during this period by coming along to one of our Taster Days or Easter Workshops. We also have other events happening and we will let you know of these. At these events you will be able to mix with other like-minded young creatives and get a feel of the college experience.

Each term we will send you a copy of access, our student magazine, which has lots of interesting articles covering music, games, media and events.

Your enrolment day will be the start of your college life for real. We’ll need you to come down to your campus and complete some official paperwork. You will have already given us some of this information, but it’s important that we collect it again, along with some details that we haven’t already got, when you enrol – so please bear with us!

Access Creative College enrols all new starters with conditional offers immediately after GCSE results day. Everyone will receive joining instructions over the summer – this will tell you the date and time that you need to come into college, what you need to bring with you and what to expect on the day.

Your formal welcome to Access Creative College comes in Fresher’s Week at the beginning of September.

During this week you will be introduced to the college and to your course. You will also have opportunities to socialise and to take part in special Fresher’s Week activities.

The start of your course forms an induction period where you will be introduced to the college, your course and its assessment requirements.
During this period you will take a Functional Skills initial assessment. These are purely to assess your current skills to allow the college to manage the delivery of teaching, learning and differentiation in the classroom, and the embedding of English and maths. These assessments are done online via BKSB.

We want to make sure you are happy with the course you have chosen and we want to ensure it is the right one for you to succeed.

The first six weeks of the course are a Right Choice period whereby you will have opportunities to reassess your decision while we will offer solutions or alternatives.
