The acts and audience have left, the festival gates have closed… Love Saves The Day, one of Bristol’s premier festivals, has ended once more. But don’t despair! They will be back next year for another installment of the frenetic event on 23rd and 24th May 2026..
Just like previous years, we were down in the fields of Ashton Court Estate across the weekend, with our alumni Solo Jane and Ssad Charlie performing, current students providing artist liaison backstage to this year’s incredible lineup, and our staff teams out supporting our students and alumni, talking to attendees and soaking in the atmosphere.
Putting this cornerstone of the UK’s festival calendar into words doesn’t really do it justice – so check out our highlight reel below to see what went on this weekend, and keep reading for a deeper behind-the-scenes look at this amazing event.
This year, we also sent Access Creative College alumni Marko down to Love Saves The Day to dig into the inner workings of the festival. He interviewed artists and current Access students on work experience, explored the backstage area, and mingled with the excited crowds to better understand what makes this event so special.
