And with Access Creative College right in the heart of it all, you’re perfectly positioned to tap into this thriving ecosystem.

Not only that, but our Bristol campus offers state-of-the-art facilities designed specifically for content creation. You’ll work with the same equipment and software used by professionals in the industry, from high-end cameras to professional editing suites.

Think of T Levels as the career-focused alternative to A Levels. Our two-year T Level in Content Creation combines classroom learning with substantial industry experience, giving you the best of both worlds.

You’ll spend 80% of your time developing your skills in college and 20%, that’s a full 45 days, working with real employers on actual projects.

The course covers everything you need to succeed as a modern content creator:

  • Learn to create engaging content for social media, websites, and digital platforms that actually connects with audiences.
  • Master filming, editing, and post-production techniques using industry-standard equipment and software.
  • Develop your visual storytelling abilities through photography and graphic design principles.
  • Get hands-on with the tools professionals use every day, from editing software to camera equipment.
  • Understand how to plan, execute, and deliver creative projects on time and to brief.

To join our T Level in Content Creation, you’ll need GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C-A*), including Maths and English.

The application process is straightforward. You can apply online, and our admissions team will guide you through every step.

The industry placement advantage

Here’s what sets T Levels apart from other qualifications: they provide a 45-day work placement that isn’t just work experience; it’s your chance to prove yourself to potential employers. We’ve had previous students secure a job opportunity with their placement provider after they’ve finished their course!

During your placement, you’ll build your professional portfolio, develop workplace skills that can’t be taught in a classroom, make valuable industry connections, and gain a realistic understanding of your chosen career path. You’ll work on real projects with real deadlines, learning what it takes to succeed in the fast-paced world of content creation.

What happens after your T Level?

A T Level in Content Creation opens multiple doors for your future. The qualification is equivalent to three A Levels, giving you the UCAS points needed for university, if that’s your chosen path. Many students go on to study subjects like media production, digital marketing, or film studies at degree level.

But university isn’t the only option, with your industry placement experience and practical skills, you’ll be well-positioned to step straight into employment or secure an apprenticeship. The content creation industry is hungry for talented people who can combine technical skills with creativity and professional experience, which is exactly what your T Level provides.

Possible career paths include social media manager, content creator, video editor, digital marketing specialist, production assistant, photographer, or graphic designer.
