The Level 3 Esports course provides you with the opportunity to learn about the esports industry and to develop many skills, knowledge and behaviours that are required for success in the industry; either as a player, coach, shout caster, events organiser/producer, content creator or entrepreneur. Progression from the course can be into Higher Education (university), directly into the industry, or into independent/freelance work.

The esports industry encompasses a wide range of possible employment roles. This course will give you an introduction to a range of topics that support different aspects of the industry providing essential knowledge and skills, from playing, to organising events, coaching, marketing and promotion, enterprise, esports ontent creation, events organisation, broadcasting and shoutcasting, core gaming skills and gaming strategies and more.

You will gain a detailed insight into the industry and be encouraged to keep up-to-date with the most recent esports news and events to discuss current issues in esports. You will focus on yourself as a professional and how to develop your personal skill set to level up in the esports world, undertake self-defined areas of specialist study, and run and partake in various tournaments and matches.

Having developed a wide range of skills and knowledge, you will utilise everything you have learned to plan and execute a final major project each year, demonstrating creativity, ambition, organisation and independence – essential skills to get ahead in the world of esports.

You will be encouraged to be a creative problem solver.
