get creative in Manchester

In the late 1970s punks, new wavers and new romantics made their way down to The Rafters venue to listen to breaking bands such as Joy Division, Depeche Mode and The Fall. The site was chosen as a location in the cult film 24 Hour Party People, which chronicled the Manchester scene headed by Tony Wilson, while later the venue became Jilly’s Rockworld. Fast forward to 2017 and the site is now an amazing music education facility, complete with a performance theatre and rehearsal rooms. Down the road at Hulme Street, in a converted mill, you will find our dedicated games and media centre.

Manchester is the right choice if you want to get creative in a fun and friendly place, mixing with other like-minded people. Located at two sites, we have great facilities and experienced tutors to help you on your way and we’re connected into the the region’s creative scene to give you the best opportunities. Why would you go anywhere else?
