Our L2 Videography, Photography and Design course provides the tools, guidance, and resources to explore and refine your creative interests in design, photography, videography, and animation. You’ll take on practical projects that challenge you to apply your skills in real-world contexts, gaining a deeper understanding of Careers, Marketing, and Social Media along the way. With a focus on hands-on learning and personal growth, this course also emphasises health and wellbeing to prepare you for future education or career paths.Â
By engaging in hands-on tasks and collaborative projects, you’ll sharpen your practical abilities in photography, video production, graphic design, and animation. Using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, alongside professional-grade equipment like cameras and lighting kits, you will develop technical proficiency. Collaborative assignments encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, helping you build confidence and prepare for real-world applications in media.

This internally assessed course is delivered and evaluated by teachers through planned projects. This course is made up of 8 assignment submissions, which make up larger projects. These combine practical tasks, like photography, video production, graphic design and animation, as well as written reports, filmed pitches, and presentations, involving both individual and group work.
Our bespoke professional development programme aims to empower you to take your next steps into your future career. We achieve this by providing you with a three phase programme of lessons, projects and experiences designed to give you as much exposure to industry as possible.
Those who need to retake maths and English due to achieving a grade 3 or below will undertake 3 hours of maths and English per subject a week. Learn more here.
