Access Creative College has been around longer than you probably think. In 2017 we celebrated 25 years of creative education! In 2019, we launched the first phase of our evolution in Bristol – a £5m Games and Media Campus in the city centre!
Situated just around the corner from Broadmead, the campus is ideally located in a cutting-edge creative hub that is already home to several businesses. Students benefit from brand new state-of-the-art facilities, including a virtual reality suite, green screen studio, Overclockers games classrooms and iMac media labs.

In summer 2021, we launched our new campus on the site of the famous Bristol Bierkeller (host to Nirvana’s first ever UK gig, Slipknot, The Stone Roses and Arctic Monkeys to name a few).
The new campus sits next door to the existing site (opened in 2019), and is connected by a mega blue tunnel. This allows our students to collaborate together locally in two cutting-edge spaces tailored to fit the needs of their studies and the fields they want to work in. On top of that, they’ll have access to a network of creatives in six other cities around England, a network only found at ACC.
Check out our gallery of development photos and some drone footage (below) we shot recently that show off the new space better than we ever could in text, which includes an exclusive first look at our event space, production pods, music technology rooms and much more.
We’ve created this space for our staff and students, so they can continue to work and study at the best place for creative education in the UK. Check out the in depth video of the new ACC Bristol campus below from Sheila Bird Studio who helped us build the new campus!
