Our degree courses aim to equip all of our students with everything they need to follow their passion and succeed in the creative industries. During your time with us, you will be getting hands-on with state of the art, industry standard audio equipment and honing your creative skills alongside experienced mentors while building industry contacts. This year you can choose to study a Foundation Degree in Audio & Music Technology or Music Performance at our specialist campus in Norwich.
We have partnered with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), to deliver its range of foundation degrees from our Norwich campus. The Sunday Times awarded NTU the status of Modern University of the Year 2018 citing ‘A focus on the student experience together with strong engagement with employers’.
By signing up to one of our foundation degrees you will become a student of NTU. This means your education and experience will be supported throughout by the university. This will include access to online support and library facilities as well as student union membership. At the end you will receive a degree from NTU and you will have options to progress on to a full degree programme.
The university has an excellent record of, and active strategy for, employer engagement, meaning that students can gain access to the industry to launch their career.
As a student you will be able to join Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU), giving you all the discount benefits that come with union membership. NTSU are there to represent your needs and views as a student, with people in place to represent you on all aspects of your experience with the university, making sure that your voice is heard. They also have their own independent Information and Advice Service to support you. Whether you’re looking for advice on money matters, housing or mental health, their trained advisors are on-hand to help.
